A mud-red brick facade, a corner building, established 1957– 166 East 35th Street is the location of a Neil Simon play that was never made. Call it the perfect place to take a breather from your New York City drama.
Hyman Isaac Feldman
Hyman Isaac Feldman’s career spanned most of the 20th century and resulted in 2,500 homes in the New York area. At the time of his death in 1981, he left behind no paper trail of his life’s work. The Polish-born Yale graduate was an advocate for approaching building aesthetics with utilitarian engineering. “The architect of the future,” he said, “Will cease to think in terms of design alone.”
