The Byron is a 20-story residence featuring large units with a plentiful amount of closet space. Located in the Kips Bay neighborhood, it was built in 1964 and converted to a co-op in 1984. It is located close to shopping, restaurants and movie theaters. It also features a rooftop deck, a concierge, and basement storage.
Robert Bien joined the practice of his father, renowned architect Sylvan Bien, after graduating from Cornell’s architectural program in 1950. A contemporary of H.I. Feldman and Horace Ginsbern, Robert continued his father’s aesthetic legacy by blending a sense of contemporary comfort with classic elegance and an affinity for brick exteriors.
