Founded in 1995 by Marvin H. Meltzer and David Bandl, it operated until 2007, when David passed away from pancreatic cancer. The firm focused the development, rehabilitation, and adaptive re-use of residential and commercial buildings in New York City. It designed and built over 10,000 units, both luxury and affordable family housing. It was the first to undertake the first large-scale office-to-residence conversion.
